The Wistles Go WOOOOOO!
I am thinking about getting into competition a bit.. I was hoping i could enter the amateur street class. I have no other history in spl or sq comps.

Problem is, the rules say that amateur competitors cannot have any employment history with any company involved in the 12v industry.

I worked as seasonal help for best buy for one winter. Will this disqualify me from the amateur class?

sorry andon. but hey AS doesn't have fun rules to me anyway in my opinion. Can't use test tones, only one battery, you do passes with the car off, blah blah blah. S classes are cool. I never even did AS. And with your vehicle, you'll get loud QUICK. Sure ohio is the most competitive state (when you look at MECA world finals winners in Street classes), but you can do well.

^ u gonna be at casper right? if so ur gonna kick my arse
Yeah I'll be there. My shit still isn't all together yet, but I should have it done in time. If you'd like some time on the TL before the show starts I'd be glad to help you out. It would make your real run a lot easier.

I've been on the TL and I'm just not putting out good numbers for some reason. ONce CC is over I'm gonna start all over again, probably with a bigger sub (only running one 12" L7).
What have you done on the TL? When I meet you at Caspers I'll look over your setup and see if I can give you some suggestions. I do have some experience with aero port boxes for trunks.

highest was 139.4 at the headrest //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/furious.gif.fc81ca146dbff91fede3ed290dbc4f4c.gif. 155.7 at the port (freakin 15db loss from port to headrest). no testing at the kick or windshield

Nobody will care that you worked part time at BB.

If you want to run AS, go ahead. The scores are usually quite a bit lower in AS which makes competing in it fairly easy for newcomers.

Street on the other hand.....
