Some will say the Q's have smoother tweets. Maybe, but the Focals sound richer to me. Course, I'm biased, but that's my opinion.

so...its an opinion thing. but generally speaking, they're are both pretty good speakers. ok..well. thanks. Oh..you have the focals Doobie. Well, if they meet your requirements they've gotta be good. I wanted a warranty but the only place that offers a warranty FOR FOCALS is http://www.carstoys.com ...which seems like a legit site, but who knows how long they might be in bussiness. I want a 4 year warranty. So..since http://www.onlinecarstereo.com the only site that offers a 4 yr warranty i can feel comfortable with, i think i'll buy from them, even though they dont sell focals. I'm going to go with the MB Q's from http://www.onlinecarstereo.com

i used to sell focal at the store i worked at previous to moving out here to utah and from what i understand and have witnessed with customers that have bought sets of focals is that you get a card with every set of focals you buy it has the seriel number and if anything happens to them they replace them no questions asked!!

my boss blew a set of K2P'S and they replaced them no questions asked!!

CarToys is a huge chain. Don't think you have to worry about them closing the doors anytime soon. You'll pay more going that route, though. Just depends on how you want to do things.

Well, i geuss i should look at the Focals. I'll prob get a 4 year warranty. I'm really paranoid unless i have warranties because im not an audio expert so once its broken, im lost. Does Focal usually replace their merchandise if there's an issue??

definitely go for the qsd. the focals arent even on the same level from a sonic standpoint, they arent even their highest line as the Q's are. if you were considering k2p's or something then perhaps, but even then i'd still chose the quarts.

Jesus Christ!!!!! I dont know which to choose. One minute..its focals, next its quarts. I dont have the funds to install and reinstall until i make up my mind. Thats time, money, and energy i dont have. grrr. Ok...so now im leaning to the quarts.

exactly... Having heard both, and selling both companies, the qs are way ahead of the focals. I like the qs, and the premiums better than the k2ps aswell.

jman ...i looked but there's no one that sells that amp with a warranty. Im big on warranties in cars cuz shit will break. Do you have any other suggestions of good amps that you would use to run your MB Q's, because we have the same speakers in the front.

Speaking of the tweeters, I'll forewarn you that unless they are tuned and positioned properly, the tweeters will be too bright. I had mine on -4db on the xovers and on the equalizer I turned them down a hair. But if you tune them right, they will be very smooth and clear.

good point... the Qtd25 tweets are definitely meant to be off axis
