Hey Jazn, that's a great link..........//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif :D //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

**** great link. thanks..

so the RAA1000 is a D class amp runs a 1ohm the QAA1000 is a A/b amp runs at 2ohm.s

i personally never had that pop or click SOUND EVER, so i really dont see mysefl getting QAA amps if that really the only reason. then i will just get another RAA1000 and 2 D2 subs. and run of each?...

thanks for your help guys. only place i could find info for mb quart. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Actually the QAA1000 is 1ohm stable, according to the car audio guys at my work, we are selling one at my work right now. They are very hard to get ahold of. As far as I know all the guys at work absolutley love the QAA series over the RAA series, but that is just hear-say. But that link says it's only a 2ohm stable amp....I'm so confused!

a few things to consider...

1. qaa's were not production amps, the product was abandoned by rf/mbq

2. big regulated amps = big draw, all the time

3. documented noises coming out of those things

I'd prefer the the raa's or even rf power amps myself...

Mmmmk I've owned two raa2400's and one raa1000. The raa1000 "clicked" when it powered down. My latter raa2400 produced an adible "snap" in the tweets when powered up, and a "thud" when powered off. My current raa2400 doesn't say anything to me except "thank you for letting me power your speakers master":D

The raa1000 is 1 ohm stable and will kill your sub! Not literaly speaking of course.

The raa2400 does 800x1 @4. I ran my Arc 12D4 at 8 ohms off it and it performed like a champ.

The Reference series, pop, click, thud, or whatever sounds it makes are less of an issue then they are made out to be. Annoying, YES!! But very good for the money. Especially with the features they offer and the power they put out, they are tough to beat!

The Q series are in a class by themselves. As the reviewer on the DYI forum said they are in the Audison LRx, Zapco studio and US Amps line of performance.

Too much power???? Is that even possible:up2somet: We shall see when I get my QAA4250 in later this week:D Oh and by the way, I have an 80 amp alt:p:
