Mmmmk I've owned two raa2400's and one raa1000. The raa1000 "clicked" when it powered down. My latter raa2400 produced an adible "snap" in the tweets when powered up, and a "thud" when powered off. My current raa2400 doesn't say anything to me except "thank you for letting me power your speakers master"
The raa1000 is 1 ohm stable and will kill your sub! Not literaly speaking of course.
The raa2400 does 800x1 @4. I ran my Arc 12D4 at 8 ohms off it and it performed like a champ.
The Reference series, pop, click, thud, or whatever sounds it makes are less of an issue then they are made out to be. Annoying, YES!! But very good for the money. Especially with the features they offer and the power they put out, they are tough to beat!
The Q series are in a class by themselves. As the reviewer on the DYI forum said they are in the Audison LRx, Zapco studio and US Amps line of performance.
Too much power???? Is that even possible:up2somet: We shall see when I get my QAA4250 in later this week
Oh and by the way, I have an 80 amp alt
