Update: 3/27/07 - 2 Channel Amp

Here we are another update! A Pionner 2 Channel amplifier to run the front stage (Rainbow speakers). It arrived within 3 days in great shape. Almost have everything I need and I'm excited, because I can't wait to hear everything together for the first time.

Yeah it sucks, but I'd have to try and deal with it somehow...Can't change my car just because of the bass rattles.
I would have to take that suggestion to put something on the rear deck. Maybe some sort of deadening foam.

As long as it doesn't sound like this...

yeah my bros car rattle is really ridiculous if mine rattled like that id be mad unless i was entering a trunk rattle loudness comp here in houston

oh and im sorry you got that pioneer amp... i had it and it never put out more than 200 watts at 4 ohms. its very inefficient, how much did you pay for it?

It's for the SLCs which take 100w @ 4 ohms nominal power so it should be okay for a temporary amp.

I'm actually looking for an Arc Audio Kar 600.4 to replace the pioneer later down the road.

yeah that would be an awesome choice. that arc amp is underrated and very nice four channel amp. i wish i had the money for one myself. do you like the size of that pioneer amp?? lol how much did you pay for that amp?

Even with 80sqft, it'll still rattle.My friend has the same car with 2 12" RL-p's ported, it rattles so much and he even deadened it. His rear deck was flapping so much we had to shove a towel in there to keep it from doing so from all the bass.

Bad car for bass.

i got a 96' maxima, awfull car for bass literaly, very hard to get loud, no rear folding seat, rattle like a *****... dont fire the port to the rear! your trunk will rattle none stop//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif fire it in cabin, help me alot even though my rear seat dont fold

LoL it's okay kinda big...like thick. I'm not gonna tell ya how much I paid lol all I can say is I got it new so it was more $ than I wanted to spend on it haha my mistake

My rear seats do fold down, but I wanted to have the sub fire towards the trunk lid so u're able to see it. that pioneer will sound alright just wont put out much doing it. btw i was just wondering how much you paid i paid 79.99 brand new at car toys for that amp a long *** time ago. ive seen that amp selling for 150 or so just hoping you didn't pay that much for that piece lol
