Max mounting depth?

I'm planning on building a box in my 2001 frontier crew cab and was wondering what is the max mounting depth? Would Sundown SD-2 8 inch fit? It has a 4.75" mounting depth

Box Dimensions:

Height: 10"

Top: 3"

Bottom: 6"

Always leave some room for the pole vent to breath so i would say at minimum you need 5.25" and maximum all depends on how much ft^3 your box has
