max fuse size

what would be the maximum fuse size or breaker that could be used with a 4 gauge power wire? The power wire is monster cable and it came with a 60 amp fuse but once I add another amp, i might need to get a bigger fuse, but i don't want to melt any wires. any help would be appreciated

since resitance increases with length, we need to know how long it is.....here is a good chart to take a look at:

the one amp is a kicker kx800.4 and has 3 40 amp fuses. the other amp is a bazooka, don't know what model, but has 4 20 amp fuses, so am I correct in saying that these amps will draw 200 amps combined maximum ((3x40)+(4x20)=200)? the length of the wire is at least 16 feet since it is going to the trunk, don't know exactly, so according to that chart, i should go buy some 2 gauge huh?

at least, I would not even mess with 2 gauge, just run 0 (its not on that chart)...the price difference is neglagable.
