Max fuse size for 2 gauge on big 3???

I have a 300 amp ANL fuse and holder laying around, but I know that is way too big. What is the biggest I could use? I believe it saw either a 200 or 250 at the orileys here in town...

btw as said in title, this is going on 2 gauge wire for my big 3. Already have 20 feet of it so im just gonna use it. no use for 1/0 anyways.

a 1206d at the moment, but my buddy wants to buy it and im thinking i'll just upgrade to a 1606d.

cool. i saw here http://www.powerstream.com/Wire_Size.htm it said max for chasis wiring is 181 amps so i didnt know if 200 was a bit too high or not.
