Are these both parallel

I am hooking up a 12' 4 ohm sub to a 2ohm load on my amp, and i am just wondering does it make a difference in what order the wires are hooked up? By looking at this diagram can anybody tell me if these wiring are the same?

no by that diagram i only have one DVC sub, im just illustrating 2 ways of wiring, and wondering if they are the same.
