Auburn. the sa240 seemed too powerful for the low end dayton sub...but if u are careful,it ok...36hz is high,but will have good impact!

Do you have the sa-240 with bass boost? Yea I'm either going to do 32hz or 36hz but he doesn't listen to rap so I'm leaning toward high tuning.

with bass boost...i would tune lower...jazz has low notes, also will flatten the response

ok I went with the sa-240 without bass boost I didn't want that yea maybe ill do 32hz then.

How are the Orion subs? These for example:

Orion CO154S (CO-1542) 15" Single 4 ohm Cobalt Subwoofer

Orion XTR152 (XTR-152) 15" Dual 2 ohm Car Subwoofer

Ok so I have decided on the Dayton Audio DCS385-4 15" Classic Subwoofer 4 Ohm 295-206 what size should I make the box? One guy on the reviews said 5.7cuft that seems really big even for a 15" I will be tuning to 32hz for sq.

oh I meant too big for the sub not for the house lol. I'm not sure what dayton recommends for size and tuning I'm going to try and find out now.

Ok so I can't find any recommended size or tuning so the one reviewer says he has it in a 5.7cuft that is 50% stuffed so what size would that make it ruffly? I'm assuming a 32hz tuning would be good for SQ?

Yeah I'm in winisd and did they get rid of the box making stuff? I used to be able to get box specs for designing them but now it just lets me put cuft and tuning what gives? I need to design a box. I just got bass box pro trying it out now I'm assuming "Z" means the impedance.

Woah I inputted the parameters of the sub and I hit optimum in bass box pro and it made a box thats 12 cuft with a tuning of 17hz wtf?
