hmm can't tell if they are distorting or not from a youtube video but so far I'm going with the 240 for my dad if its really 240w it should be plenty for my dad and it's only 98 bux.

hmm can't tell if they are distorting or not from a youtube video but so far I'm going with the 240 for my dad if its really 240w it should be plenty for my dad and it's only 98 bux.

sorry,i got a little carried away lol.the dayton 240 should be more powerfull at any rate.and the vids dont sound distorted if you have earphones

no they just sound like their box is rattling apart lol I was just saying you can't record how good a sub sounds with a regular mic and put it on youtube doesn't work that way heh.

Ok so I just ordered the Dayton SA-240 for $93 it was $98 and i found a $5 off code that worked //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif My mom is getting him the sub and my brother and I are going to build him a box for it. He listens to rock and jass fusion guitar type stuff so I'm thinking of tuning it high around 36hz. I'm not sure what size box yet. So far leaning towards getting this sub to pair with it Dayton Audio DCS385-4 15" Classic Subwoofer 4 Ohm 295-206

What do you guys think about this 15" sub compared to the dayton above? I can't figure out what size the magnet is it just says large lol.
