ok ive been playing around with my cds and trying to make a huge cd with alot of my songs on it. im trying to get at least 200 songs on a single cd, but so far i have been unsuccessful. i am just tired of switching cds and getting all my cds scratched in my car, and just want one huge one. the cds i used have a capacity of 700mb, and i dont know why 690mb wouldnt fit on it. ive tried making them into mp3s but only got 58 songs on the cd. i thought that you could hold at least 100 songs on a cd when they were formated into mp3s but i truly am no expert. so i was thinking about getting a dvd disc and making a huge cd with that. ive done some little research and found out that its should hold at least a 1000 songs, and that would be nice. any help would be appreciated or comments

yea my head unit plays dvds and i have a dvd burner. i would get the ipod adapter but thats 50 to 75 bucks. i can get a dvd disc for free, and free is always better. i did try the date disk but that still only got 59 songs and the songs were from mixtapes, not that long of songs. im not to familiar with mp3s, i always just burned music discs. i burn with itunes. i should get a better program, but again, i dont really want to spend money, cuz im broke

Just use the windows default burning program. Nero is a great program as well and I'm pretty sure there is a free trial for it.

When you insert a blank disc, choose the "Open Writable CD folder using Windows Explorer" option. From there, just drop the folders of music on there and burn as a data disk.

When I go to burn a CD, I use that and just drag folders I want burned into the burning folder and then write the files. This is what it looks like:

Creating the folder directories is really useful as it allows you to find songs much easier.

x2, just when you burn a DVD don't use this, as Windows won't

recognize it being a DVD, it will think it's a CD. I have had a lot of luck with Cyberlink DVD solutions, and if you don't want to spend a bunch of money on it, may I suggest you google 'Torrents'?

thanks for that help, but the only problem is that i got a mac, and running on the osx 10 program. i probley should have stated that earlier. sorry about that
