As long as you don't have to crank it to a point that causes distortion or clipping, it doesn't matter. What does your HU have for preout voltage?only thing with my HU pre outs is i have to crank my gains up bc the preout volts are really low
This is not a big deal. The Xenon amps I use are known to require very high gains and mine are no exception. The gains for my mids and sub are just about maxed... with no problems.only thing with my HU pre outs is i have to crank my gains up bc the preout volts are really low
DEY DONT YO!!!!this blows man well only thing i can do is once i have all my equipment done and my big 3 done try to find the problem
how well do ground loop isolators work
Not if the reason they are set higher is because of low input voltage.yea but the higher the gains the more heat and stress it causes on the amp correct
Never seen someone actually ground the RCAs. As for grounding the HU, yeah you can just use a good thick speaker wire.will do should i try to ground my rcas on the HU if i do that for wire i can just use like speaker wire or something right
also how do i test my pre out voltage
