what problems may occur..and possible solutions?

I currently have a 4 channel amps pushing 40 watts on each channel and and monoblock pushing 500 watts on 2 10in subs. As of now I'm not running into any problems, however if I were to add a 800 watt amp pushing 2 12's would a capacitor do the job here(I know they are not liked here) or should I just take the old amp and subs out.

In terms of amps the mono block currently has the ability to draw 60 (4 15amp fuses) and the 4 channel can draw 30(2 15 amp fuses) I'm not sure about the new amp it comes next week and I'm not sure what my alt is putting out.

I'm around Albany...i mean i could sell the set for 200. I got ripped off by a install place my friend said his uncle could get me a deal. I wish I knew more then, I'd be taking a significant loss on package. Any suggestions where to sell them ebay, craigs list etc.

there 2 10in jbl's 250watt rms and a Total mobile audio 500 watts 250 for each sub at two ohm load.

Haha well I dont have much choice, I thought I blew the subs so i ordered new ones on a budget. I have two 12in polk with 400watt rms. I also have a 800watt alpine amp (400 each at two ohms) on its way.

do the big 3 before anything. If that doesnt cure the dimming, add a batt intot he back...and if u still have dimming and voltage loss, new alt time
