Major voltage drop at amp

What kind of power wire in size are you running to the amp also any fuses or distribution blocks on the Wire do you have it ran off the front battery straight to the amp or is there a rear battery or capacitor or anything like that

no big three yet, but im only pushing maybe 1k at most. 4 gauge everywhere. Amps 1200.1 prime and xtr 800.4. battery is x3400. I'm leaning towards grounding issue

fuse is close to battery

Are you using the same meter with both of your recordings?
yes

it's your power and ground wires for the amp

you may only have a 1kw amp but this circumstance is exactly what happens when you have a loose or high resistance connection somewhere.

Do a voltage drop test under power to find the wire or connection that is causing it. Very simple test. You just put one lead of the DVM on one end of the cable and the other at the other end while under load. If you get more than a few tenths than you have something and narrow it down through the process of elimination.

yes
Yet. People tend to add audio 1st then do electrical last. Imho, it should be done 1st. Upgrade the 3 wires with OFC quality brand weld wire (big 3) then get a gauge bigger power/ground for your amp. See if that changes things.

That little 90 amperage alt is starving....and those teeny tiny big 3 wires are very small, limiting current.
