ok i think i made up my mind.. Im wanting to go with two 10" Alpine type Rs for my single cab truck.. i currently have two 12" alpine type Es in now and they sound great but just dont get loud enough for me. So do you guys think two 10" type Rs running at around 400 watts a piece would be louder then the two 12" alpine type Es i have right now running at 250 watts a piece? or should i say scratch all the alpine bull and get a single massive 12" sub and make a ported box for it?

try porting the type E's , i had them way way back in the day and they are really decent in a good ported box for what they cost etc and so on....

correct if im wrong but i dont think two ported 12" subs would sound good in a single cab truck? plus i dont have the space needed to run two ported boxes.. if i went with a ported box id have to go with one sub

3 10s with 500 on each will get down. But if you have the room for 3 10s you have the room for 2 12s. Or you can get 3 bad 8s ported?

I would go with 3 8's ported if you only have a standard cab.

man so many ideas lol wat to do, wat to do!? well i have a budget of about 1k.. so i think ima look into doing 3 tens, i just hope i have enough space for them to perform well
