Made in USA???

Was just wondering if there actually is subs and amps that are truly made in usa? Or are most just designed here and outsouced? I saw in a classified ad here on caco a sundown sa12 and on the box it said maid in china? Is that correct? Sorry if this topic has been beat to death.

Most "made in America" products have at least a good portion of the parts of the item outsourced to China and such. Most of the amps with this ideal are assembled here and usually done with care and great testing, so this is why it is often sought after.

I will believe it when I see it.. Most Americans no longer take pride in there job, so I doubt that care and such is actually there

Truly, what difference does it make? Yes, many companies have their products made in China or Korea. But do all of the designing and testing here in the US. Sundown does this. They get a prototype sent to them to beat, test, abuse and tweak. They have direct control over what the factory does with it, they tell them what to do, then have them build and ship the final product.

It doesnt make a huge difference to me, and i understand why its done. I was just curious if there were any still assembled on this side of the pond.
