Made in USA???

Like i said i understand and even agree with why companies outsource. I didnt mean for this to be a haters thread or anything.i was just curious which brands (if any) still were made here. Fyi i own 2 sa12's haven't hooked them up yet but i heard them in the guys car that i bought them from. (Thanks Allen!) I was impressed. Hopefully soon i will be boomin.

You must be kidding if you're trying to blame Clinton...Let me guess, you think that Ronald Reagan was the best President to have ever held office?
Im not blaming just him but him and his democratic ***** ways got the ball rolling

While you are wrong here on the korean stuff lasting, I have "Older school" Diamond amps as well, and I do love them. Also, pull your head out of your *** and you will see that, plain and simple, american people are, as a whole LAZY. Quality and America no longer go hand in hand I hate to say.
See,I guess you go to China for your quality parts huh.... Taiwan ? India? Trust me bro, with no

standards being set anymore u better pray airplane parts have not yet gone to Asia cause then planes will start dropping out of the sky...

LOL....u better double check on that and see if Boeing, McD and the like don't use outsourced parts from companies like Carlysle Group, Honeywell and others who DO have plants in China..lol..u know they do a LOT of manufacturing lasers and weapons guidance systems for our own military...at the least...yea, it's fucked that bad.

As the printing on the box indicates our E, SD-2, and SA woofers are assembled in China. This is not a secret nor am I shy about admitting it -- the drivers performance speaks for itself regardless of where it is made. They would have no better quality if I glued them all together here but they would cost more and take longer to deliver to the customer.
We've always assembled the Nightshade drivers here in the USA and all versions of the Z woofer to date as well have been American assembled. The Nightshade will remain as such; where the Z will likely be sent over to our factory by next year due to extremely high demand and the difficulty in finding sufficiently skilled and trustworthy workers who give a crap to put them together here. If things change I am MORE than open to considering moving more production to the USA; fact is in the current environment it doesn't make a ton of sense to make products with high sales volume here.

I am actually looking into fully USA made (machined and assembled) motors for the Nightshade line perhaps by version 4 -- local machine shop that does alot of small pieces for us has acquired a ton of new machinery that opens that up a bit... for a lower sales volume / higher end product like the NS it makes a bit more sense.

Jacob this was in no way intended to say anything bad about Sundown. It was just to clarify the statement of why it said it was made in china on the box. Your customer service and forum interaction is astonishing.

Sundown is the JL of the forums? Hmmm pretty sure people dont say Sundown isnt worth the money lol.
