mach 460 with aftermarket HU 'popping'

my friend and i have just recently installed an aftermarket HU (panasonic) with the mach 460, plus pioneer subs and a power acoustik amp. crutchfield told me to wire that into the remote turn on lead (the amp and mach amp lead are twisted together to the one lead from the HU), i did that, but when i did that i my subs didnt turn on, my speakers did but not the subs. so i unhooked it all and it works fine, except for the popping. just wondering why this is happening...wanting to fix the popping..thanks in advance

try putting a 1k ohm resistor on the remote wire going to the mach amp...

quick question..i am performing a similar install....which harness did u use for the factory amp integration??..i got the double harness which is the same as the more expensive scosche harness with the speaker output gain controls built in....if the only problem ill have is popping then i can fix it with the resistor...i just wanted to know if my harness will have poor results before hand....thanks!

And do you have a pic of your harness? I had to hook up a grey one for the power, etc and the scoshe one had a square plug for the amps and 8 wires for the speakers on the other end.
