if I buy this one modded can I still strap it with the hk4000d (unmodded) I already have?
These amps are not strappable. But IF you know anything about the maxx link thingy watchamacallit... You can with that. I am going to an I know of another guy who is too.

I have the same amp.In fact I have a few of them. For the fact it is not strappable AT ALL. Theres nothin in the manual about strapping them or on the amp either. Theres no master/slave switch on them. NOT strappable.

look bro no need to get testy! my amp has a diagram on the bottom on how to strap them? maybe you have an older model? or maybe they put the label and instructions there by mistake? anyway I finally got my amp put in today and there is no need to strap this haus anyway! it has plenty of power!

LOL testy. Just trying to help you not make a big mistake. Not sure what Ma Audio HK4000D's you all have but everyone else's HK are not strappable. Just search all of the forums on HK an you will find that all of the posts talk about how they are not strappable. Hey If you think they are go ahead an strap them lol. Call me when they catch on fire.
