1. Product: MA 1680i

I know I'm new to selling on here but if you check my feedback links on CACO you'll see I'm a stand up guy. Also I have a friend, ronmeister on here that'll vouch for me.

2. Specs: It's rated at 100X4 @ 4Ω plus 200X2 @ 4Ω

I'd say it's overrated but not by much. It's got a healthy power supply & the larger amp is a completely seperate amp from the 4 channel.

3. Description/Condition: It's used but in pretty fair shape. I just rebuilt the power supply with all new FETs & it uses IRFZ-44s which are the same as a lot of better amps like older ZED's & PPI's & the like. I've tested the hell out of it on the bench & I know it'll handle 2Ω loads fine. It has a few discolorations & some minor dings, mostly on the mounting rails. Also has a tiny crack in the plexi cover. I'd give it a strong 8 of 10 for cosmetic & a 10 of 10 for sure for performance. I stand behind all of my repairs for 90 days. This thing has a very nice, flexible xover. You can run it 3 way active or 2 way active with either stereo or bridged mono subs or front + back & subs.

4. Price: : I'm asking $200 shipped. That price is negotiable. Please keep in mind this thing is very long & heavy so shipping has to be considered in there.

5. Pictures: Attached. They could be better but all I have for a camera right now is my iphone.

the good ol' days of MA Audio...things are built like tanks and were a pretty high end item back in their heyday...nice to see one around still. if i had to estimate, we used to sell these in the $6-700 range, but i could be off considering its been almost a decade since i saw one of these

I'm not familiar so I'm glad to know that. I was out of car audio for the last decade & a half until recently so, I'd never heard of them. It is a pretty solid amp. The only thing I see that they should've done different is they used the common import single sided board. Other than that, it's built with quality parts.

trades?? got a hifonics brutus 2608d?? or a soundstream tr500/4 old school chrome beast
Not really. You just listed 2 brands I really don't care for. I already have Brutus I'm about shitcan & Soundstream is a pita lol

thanks for the offer though. I would trade for a buttload of decent deadener if I was trading...

oh ok, have you seen the tr500/4 before? its pretty sweet.
Yeah I have. I've got a Ref 705S & a D'Artagnan & a Ref 500 on my bench right now. Lemme tell you... Soundstream is a PITA:D

When something goes, it all goes & parts are pricey. The newer company has some of the best customer service I've ever dealt with though.
