How are you running three amps all on the same sub? How do plan to wire that and are the amps capable of doing it? I am not tracking the Clarions are strappable.

Am I missing something in the reading?

Not sure why you don't just go with one sub amp that gives you the power you need.

this whole myth came about from people using tiny amps on big power subs, and thinking, "well if i turn the amp all the way up it'll be fine" most amps start puting out distortion around 75% up on the gain depending on deck setting and other crossovers that might be being used, the distortion will cause excess heat and can ruin the sub.

but under-powering a sub with CLEAN power is not possibly only with distorted power.

I remember us arguing about this before, but I forgot how it ended. What would you call it then, if not "under-powering"? "Less than optimal/capable powering," or some other euphemism that means the same thing?
