Low tuning question

Does anyone have an enclosured tuuned below 28htz? That is the lowest I have seen.
In home audio/theater, tuning into the teens/low 20's is not uncommon.....though in car audio there isn't much point in going to much below the upper-20's in tuning.

Anyways...as was mentioned, the further above the tuning frequency you go, the more the subwoofer behaves like it is in a sealed enclosure. So, tuning to 1hz would be rather pointless as within the typical musical range, the port would be doing absolutely nothing and the subwoofer's response would essentially equate to that of a sealed enclosure of the same net volume.

Yes, I was thinking the same thing... THe efficiency would theoretically **** on a box such as that.
You'd think there'd be an equation to find the median point of maximum efficiency to the point where the sound would be the best.

But then, SQ is subjective, efficiency is not.
IB is maximum efficiency. Below 28hz isn't really used outside of home theater where the detail is appreciated and the space not so limited.
