how do i know what my box is tuned too?

im new to the box building thing and am about to start my project. but i dont know how to tune a box to make it like 35 htz or whatever.. please help.

Get someone to make you box designs for like $8, no one will give you them for free.

If you search you can find an equation that shows you how to construct the port. The frequency that the box is tuned at (Fb) is relative to the port length, port area, and net volume of the box.

Lv = Av*1.84*10^8/[Vb*(Fb/0.159)^2] - 0.823*sqrt(Av)

Where;

Lv = Port Length (in inches)

Av = Port Area (in square inches)

Vb = Net Internal Volume (in cubic inches [mulitply cubic feet by 1728 for cubic inches)

Fb = Desired Tuning Frequency

Port area for the rectangle = H * W

Port area for a circle = Pi*r^2
