Low pass filter question

Hi. I have a Pioneer GM-D8704 four channel amp. If I set the high pass filter to 80 hz will it also cut low frequencies going to the subwoofer via the subwoofer RCA output ? Or will it only cut low frequencies going to the speakers ?

It will only cut the frequency going to the speakers. It has no effect on the RCA's.
Are you running a separate amp to the subwoofer? I'm guessing you're using the RCA outputs from this amp to supply signal to the subwoofer amp. This output will supply the same signals as the RCA inputs of that 4ch amp.
