Low impedance light JL 300/4

I'm getting the low impedance light on my JL 300/4. I've unplugged all speaker and rca cables and the light is still on, and switched the power/ground wires from my 500/1. Just wanted to make sure there's nothing else that it could be before I decide to bring it in to get fixed? Has anybody heard or experienced the same problem with this amp?

Sounds like a bad amp. The light should have gone away once you unplugged the speaker.

Some amps require having power taken off of them for 20 minutes to reset the low impedance mode.

i didnt even know my 300/4 had a low impedance light...

Yep sounds like a bad amp, take it in and get it fixed.

Im pretty sure JL's dont require reset time.

I'll try disconnecting the power for 20 mins for the hell of it...chances are it will be sent to get fixed. Thanks everyone.
