I guess Im talking to a brick wall? Not trying to be rude, but you blow me off then ask squeak to answer a question I just did. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif That would be enclosure alignment specific. The over all output sound from your sub system will be more dictated by the enclosure design than anything else. Speaker cone diameter plays a much smaller role in it (and only due to differences in displacement, not transient response). So I guess I'll just wash out my own mouth with soap. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/uhoh.gif.c07307dd22ee7e63e22fc8e9c614d1fd.gif Let me ask you this question though. Why would anyone choose a 15" over a 10" when all they want is tight, punchy bass?? Wouldn't it be easier to achieve this from a 10 than it would from a 15".??? Not sure at all on that one. What do you think?? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
It would also be frequency dependant. What most people call 'punchy' bass is actually midbass. A sub lowpassed at 50hz (for example) is not going to be very 'punchy'.
