Loudness of 3 13W7s

There's no way to tell you how loud you'll be. But I bet there's plenty of people on this forum who can design an amp/sub/box combo that can get you louder than 3 w7's for a whole lot cheaper.

3 13w7's from wat i heard and seen will get u louder than the average joe ...but for the money will be paying...in the same space the 3 13w7's will take up..u can get much louder and still hit the lows good with less money

80

3 12" subs that can get louder.

DD 9500, 9900

FI BL, BTL,

RE SE, MT

T3 TSS

Cactus

Sundown Nightshade

TC Sounds

and more that I cant think of right now.

The W7 is a good sub that sounds good and can play louder than average subs.

But that is not it's main purpose and other subs that are more designed for SPL do a better job at getting loud.

I understand what all of you are saying. I'm not ignorant to the Audio world I know of tons of brands that can beat W7's in SPL, but I meant to ask was are W7's loud at all? I know they sound good, but I'm asking if they are loud,. Unless there are suggestions that can get loud and sound good aswell

They can get pretty loud.

I have used 12W7s before and from my experience I would estimate mid 140s in my setup where as my T3s do low 150s. and the T3s sound great while doing it.

The W7s can take a beating though and they can get louder than type Rs. And sound better too.

lol now I'm canceling the use of W7's since they have now been compared with Type Rs.... I may go FI Audio or DD Audio(Not as good sounding as some but good brand and gets LOUD!)

RE SE's!!! TEAM H&K is the hookup! and i bet you will only spend 1/2 on the RE's if the JL's are used and you buy RE se brand new!

I have 3 type r's i used for 2 years (for sale) and i wouldnt spend the money to trade those in for the jl's ever. Jl is a monopoly, many say that about alpine but at least alpine is cheap.
