Loudness of 3 13W7s

i'm thinking 3 BL's on a sundown 3000 should get stupid loud and still sound decent. pic a size 10s 12s 15s whatever and if your looking for a loud setup where sq is really important, either IXLs. Q's, Icons or alphas.
and if stupid loud is really the goal, 2 hdcs on a sundown 3000 or 2 aq2200's strapped... and if you ran the 2200's strapped you could also look into mach 5 SPL series and btls as well as nightshades.
Umm Isn't AudioQue made by Digital Designs??? I said I was going to do either 2 9515s or 2 9518s.

This is from DJ from Audioque

This subject comes up 3 or 4 times a year.

Resonance Inc. is a holding company owned by the Langford family.

Resonance owns our AQ/DD build facility and domain names.

DD is owned and operated by my son Jassa and his wife Vicki Langford.

AQ is owned and operated by DJ Langford.

Both companies are independant of each other.

Subwoofer designs are not the same nor are the motor designs

The AQ HDC3 series share the same basket as some DD series

AQ/DD soft parts are not shared

AQ amplifiers are made in South Korea

AQ comp sets are made in Germany

Any AQ sub with a "C" in the model name denotes the sub assemblies were made in China and final assembly and QC are done at Resonance's build facility in OKC.

The SD2 series is still made in OKC but in the not to distant future it also will have a "C" in its model name.

AQ is around for the long haul but ownership and operation will be passed on to my Grandson, Charn Langford, when I get tired of doing this. Charn has had an active part in every aspect of the family business most of his life and knows the business from the bottom up.

AQ products are "drop shipped" from Resonance warehouse in OKC.

Comming from bigbassman on the great 12" challenge
SPL burps...

12" w7 143.9 on 2,100 rms

12" FI btl 146.2 on 6,460rms

So you got triple the power and only gained 3 decibels? ohh wait, we are still comparing a 12 vs a 12, now put a 13.5 into the equation and feed them both the same 1,500rms.

are the JL w7 good subs yeah, are they the sub most companies compared there products to, yeah... are they the best, definitelly not but they hang with the top subs out there.
Thats one little test.

I have been running 3 subs, and when tuning and testing, I did tests on only 1 sub playing from 750w RMS measured.

It was a T3 Audio TSS v1 12" and I averaged 147.3dB @ 43hz TL sealed on dash.

Of course I did not perform the same test on a 13W7, but this goes to show you that a 12" that is designed for efficient SPL, can get much louder than a 13" SQ sub. With less wattage too.
