Guys, I really want to run a 3 10" subwoofer set up. Its going to be around 2.67 ohms with the drivers I am looking at. Or I can run 1 D4 15" subwoofer. Either setup will recieve around 400-500 watts. They also will be in a ported box. Whats going to give me the louder set up. I will be facing the port and the subwoofer to the front of the car and with the one side of the rear seat down. I was looking at the subwoofers:

1 15' re $117.00

3 10" pbx s10d's $39.99 a piece

These are a few I have seen I would possibly get.

WHich RE????the will will do nice, but three will 10's have more area, so i would say that the 10 will be louder but the a SE 15 will sound cleaner.

i used to have a Kicker L7 15 and it was loud as hell but i was pushing a 1100 watts to it. Im not going to run that much power.

hey 07BronzeFuz-those power bass subs are 275-550 a piece, does your amp have enough watts to power those subs???? or are you going to buying a new amp??????

I would say you'll need are 900 to 1000 watts.

verse one RE-SR would love 400 to 600 watts.

what type of box are you going to built???

sealed or ported?????

dont forget to deaden your trunk-side walls-rear deck-

3 10s would be much louder but that one 15 can hit the low lows betta.
not true. the 10's will have the cone advantage over the 15. in having so, the 10's in the right box will PWN 1 15" in the "lows". dirver for driver displacemint will usually win in that area.

is that 4-500 watts per sub or total power? if thats all you have then 1 good sub will likely be better, if its per sub then the 3 10's hands down.

total power. im looking at a directed d2205 and the sub channel is 600 watts its a class d. So I may have a little more power than the other amp I am looking at. I want the rockford power 1000 but that bish is almost 500
