losing major voltage between both batteries....

My system has been doing just fine since I installed it. Never shut off...just never had any problems out of it until just a few days ago. My kx2500 started going in and out of protect when I turned it up. At first I just thought it was because of being hot. But I just went and checked my voltage.

At by small wet cell batter under the hood im running over 14 volts

At my kinetik 2400 im only running around 11 volts

Then at my kx2500 im running around 11 volts like the kinetik

Not sure what the problem is bc like I said its been playing fine. No voltage problems at all....my headlights dont even dim.

just noticed something strange.

Checked the voltage at the amp with the vehicle OFF and it was at 11.89. Turned the vehicle ON and the voltage at the amp steadily dropped 0.01 at a time. Went down to 11.75 with the vehicle running. The music wasn't playing either.

So for some reason I have slightly better voltage with the kinetik with the car off for some reason.

edit: just noticed that when I turn my truck OFF again that the battery starts slowly going back up to 11.89.

My battery up front with the truck off is running 12.49

Well I was using a audiopipe fuse under the hood on the power wire that connects the two batteries. Ive had problems with it sparking before and one side is burnt pretty bad. So I changed it out with another fuse and my voltage didn't drop when I turned my truck on this time. So it changed something. It still didn't go up to 14 something like it should with the truck running. But Ive got the kinetik hooked up to a battery charger right now. Hopefully it just needs a good slow charge to get back on track lol.

BTW, unhook the battery before swapping the fuse = no spark
