i live in an area with lots of traffic, and i still love driving manuals.... i actually can't stand driving automatics. after driving m/t's for 6 years straight, whenever i drive an auto i always find myself doing something with my right hand, or still resting it on the shifter because it's such a habit.

you shouldn't even be allowed to buy a car with an a/t unless you're at least 58 years old, because those old people have enough trouble driving as it is, no need to confuse them more.
Bam! Get a base Scion Tc for 17,000 out the door. They come pretty loaded and they look pretty nice. Take the $1000 left from ur dad. Work for 6 months and this is minimal working -- u'll make about $1500-$2000 dollars. Take the $3000 and take the Tc and turbocharge that shit. Get a Greddy turbo or something. And U will end up with a straight line rocket. My friend did that to his Tc and he claims that he is doing 0-60 in high 4's. That is fast. He says that he can hang with Evos and Sti's.
i also plan on getting a 300zx, the automatic TT is still pretty fast and fun to drive. But the 5 speed was alot more fun, seemed to have a bit more power.
