Looking to upgrade boss h/u.

I have a full set of JBL Club series 3.5s, 6.5's, each coaxial and a set of component 6x9s, with one Sundown do. I only have the 3.5s and 6.5s installed at the moment, I'm waiting to install the 6x9 when I buy my amps. I plan on running all my speaker off a 4 channel and my sub off a one channel of course. What h/u do you guys recommend? I'm looking for quality

Budget is probably around $500 for head unit. I kinda like the traditional single din, but I think I'm go the double din route this build. So I can wire up a back up cam, and all that good stuff. Plus, the new double dins are really nice, back in the day when I was building a lot of car audio systems they all sucked

Do you want a CD player? Pioneer NEX series would be my choice. MVH-1400NEX, DMH-2660NEX, or AVH-1550NEX with CD drive.

Mainly looking for extremely good bluetooth connectivity I use BT the most. I know this sounds weird but it sounds the best outta my current Boss h/u even with a good aux cord. I've always heard BT has the worst quality, but I beg to differ.

I've always gotten great quality BT from my pioneer units. I use BT 90% of the time.

I have a Pioneer NEX unit and love it. It has wireless Apple CarPlay which is a huge plus. Worth every penny

I think it's important to note whether you are apple or android. Plenty of manufacturers have chosen a side in that debate.

Yeah and that drives me crazy because I am Android all the way. I will never own another Apple Iphone in my life. Android software stinks but iTunes is even worse.

When I upgrade from the DEH-80PRS it will probably be one of the Pioneer units since I can use a double din in mine.
