Volume Link EQ

I left this setting called, ( Volume Link EQ) on my JVC head unit which supposedly boosts certain frequencies that road noise dampens. Should I leave this setting on or off when setting gain? I just don't want to distort anything.

Start with it off. Once you have your gain set, you can play around with the equalizer to find your "sweet spot."
