Hi I am about to buy a '95 Chevy Suburban, and am going to want to install a system. I am basically wanting the works: HU, speakers, Subs, Amp, MP3 PC.
I am going to be hooking up a pc in the car to store music and movies. But as for everything else I don't have a clue what I should get. I like Bass and like to be able to make it loud. I also like to be able to listen to it at lower levels and it to still sound good.
The headunit I am going to need a touchscreen or something to control the PC with. I like the look of Alpine Headunits, but not sure if they make touchscreens or anything. If anyone knows if I can install a small touchscreen and then have a separate headunit that might be better.
How much I am wanting to spend:
HU if it has a built in touchscreen: I would probably want to spend $400-$500 depending on features
HU without touchscreen: Maybe around $200
Subs: Not really sure, I am planning on buying them off
ebay. I am wanting at least 2 12" possibly more
Speakers: not really sure here either, I want to replace all the speakers in the car
AMP: Once again not sure
Is there anything else I will need? This will be the first system I ever buy
