revs/volts

Im very happy with how my subs are performing, especially on the highway, it seems that the extra charge from high rpm's is helping alot as opposed to idle. I dont have a voltmeter installed but I would like to know generally how much voltage could I be picking up while revving?

i have a voltmeter in my car...

at idle, im making about 13.8v - 14.2v

and about 14.5v - 15v while the cars revving

from what ive seen theres no difference whether your on the freeway or in the city... the only differences are at idle and rev

every car is different, a v8 will have a low idle rmp thus making less voltage at idle, a v6 will idle higher than a v8 and a I4 will idle at almost 1k rmp making more voltage and amps at idle. to see your cars, get a volt meter...
