Was blown away by the freq responce of my PG X6.5s. I'm using the 3way mode on my Eclipse CD8455, so I'm active as well. The freq resp was **** near flat. The mid is getting around 125w and the tweet about 65w

O k guys heres what I`m going with for my front stage active setup: for the mids DaytonRs180s runnig them off a A404 bridged to 200watts/4ohms which should give it 100watts/8hms, now for the tweets some LPGs 25NFAs powered by a A-600 giving it 75watts @ 8ohms ..not sure where I~m going to x-over the mids on the low end yet,but the tweets will be x-overed @ 3.5khz I`m probably looking @ 55hz for the low end on the Mids...any suggestions Guys?

do you have a sub? cuz if you do you should x-over your sub around that range and have your mids pick up at maybe 80 hz and up.

yes i have 2-12" brahmas...well the x-over i`m using is a old phoenix gold xm3i 3-way and it does not have a seperate freq.control for the bandpass output channel..so where i crossover my highpass will be the top limit for the mid and where i crossover my subs(55hz) will be the low end for my mids so my bandpass freqs will be 3.5khz-55hz make since?

wow you will be giving the lpg's 75 watts. that will be pretty loud. i mean i'm giving mine ~42.5 watts and it gets pretty loud. i'd like to hear what you have to say when giving them 75 watts.

yes i will,tell me what do you have your tweets crossed over at? and what mids are you running?btw thanks sry didn`t look at your sig..tell me what were you running before this setup and how does it compare?

actually i was running the SLC tweets for a bit and changed over to the lpg's and definately the rainbow tweet was smooth but not as detailed as the lpg. i love the lpg's and they sound great. i have them crossed at 3.15khz with a 24db slope.
