Well guys I need some advice on what to get as for as mids and tweets go,here`s what i have currently a pair of CDT HD`s 6.5s and they are powered by 200watts per channel and they sound real loud and clear, but I want something a little bit better as for as SQ go and will handle about the same amount of power i have a active x-over(pheonix gold mx3i) my price range is about 270.oo any suggestionsor advice?

those rs180s only handle like 60watts rms im have 200watts/channel amp with those being 8 ohmms tha will cut my power down to 100watts will those speakers be able to handle that power and will they be just as loud as my cdt-hds are now off 200 watts? and also where do i find those tweets(seas 27tdfc)

do you want large format tweets or small format ones?

LPG has a small format tweeter thats supposed to be pretty good...and the Dayton's will be fine off of the 100 watts. Large format tweeters usually play lower in most cases than smaller ones so you can match it better with the driver of your choice. With the Dayton you'd pry need a larger format tweet like this one, http://www.madisound.com/cgi-bin/index.cgi?cart_id=3431965.14469&pid=1002

http://zaphaudio.com/6.5test/ ......mid comparisons

id get the extremis or the Dayton if i were you. and then the tweeter of your choice.

extremis:http://www.acoustic-visions.com/~acoustic/products/subwoofer_drivers/adire_extremis/index.shtml

or maybe a three way with the extremis and the css FR125 or the WR125 and then the LPG tweeter.

LPG tweeter: http://www.madisound.com/cgi-bin/index.cgi?cart_id=3431965.14469&pid=635

maybe go over to the diy mobile forum and look around a bit: http://www.diymobileaudio.com/forum/index.php?

they can handle way more than the rated 60w as i've been told(more like 150w i'll be sending 125w) and don't pay mind to the resistance too much. check out http://www.diymobileaudio.com for some good reads on active(lots of good reads). seas are on http://www.madisound.com .
not quite sure on the ohms? wont it affect how much power your amp produce? I know ohms law and the more resistance you add to a circuit it cuts the amperage which cuts the power
