Looking to get louder.

Current set up is 5 cubes with an HDS315 facing upwards , port drivers rear door( 8 inch aero) box is tuned to 33hz. Power is an FSD FZ2600. Current box specs are 22 deep at bottom, 17 deep at top. 16 inches tall and 44 inches long. Im toying around the idea of going back to 2 12's. jericho sounds to be specific. I can go taller with a new box also. My music taste is all over. But I like low lows. Any help is appreciated. Thank you

More power, more cone area, more motor force, bigger box tuned low with lots of port area.

Make sure your electrical is up to par.

electrical should be good. Plan on doing a 2nd battery as well. Im keeping the same amp though.

Ok, if the amp is staying the same and electrical is fine...

Make your box as big as possible, get more cone area, get more motor force, wire your amp to a lower impedance, tune low with the right amount of port area, and enjoy!

stuck with this sub and box for a bit due to un forseen circumstances. So My port is now 20 inches long, thinking of extending it to 28 for tuning of 28 hz. Thoughts?

With those dimensions im getting 5.8cu tuned at 30 with 20 in long port. Is there bracing and double baffle? If not switch to a 10in sonotube 28 long. This would be good for a zv4 at .5ohm when money is good.

you should get a different sub like ssa Zcon 15, run at half ohm.

double baffle and some all thread for bracing.

I was off on those measurements too btw. 22 depth 1 x 15.5 depth 2 x 15 high x 44 wide

Im gonna put the sub back in it conventionally and possible add some more bracing
