Looking to get louder than some 12" kickers, help please!

I now have two 12" compvr Kickers at Dual 2 ohm(http://onlinecarstereo.com/CarAudio/ProductDetail.aspx?ProductID=19553)

Running on a kicker zx750.1

Right now I am just needing something louder, I am thinking about a AQ2200D from Audioque as a new amp, to run a HDC318.

I already have the electrical system upgraded, now I just need more bass in my blazer.

how much of a difference will the audioque make over the Kicker's I have now? And is there any other options I could go for? Such as any smaller subs than a 18 to be louder than the kicker's.

are the 12s sealed or ported?...what electrical upgrades do you have?

Tell us more about the system. I went from two ported CVR12s to one ported L715 and it was like night and day in terms of pounding.

2 12" CVR's to an HDC318, with a ton more power, will be an enormous difference.

Well I did the big 3 upgrade first off.. I have a 1996 Chevy blazer 2 door. And the kickers are ported, they are loud, but not loud enough. So that's why I was wondering if the 18 will make a huge difference if installed right.
