Do you have a Fiat Panda or CRX or some sort of unicorn vehicle that magically makes SPL out of exhaust fumes? Give us some details, unless are you are Trollolloll'ing us along

Please, for the love of God, DO NOT purchase any new equipment until you have gone to a show, got metered and actually seen what loud is and what it takes to get there, then you can decide if you're willing to invest the money and effort to compete seriously or if you just want to show up and hang out.
LOL the only thing new i would buy would be subs... and they did not cost me much

Team North East SPL - Home Page READ the rules for the classes I recommend the rookie classes. and the bass brawling is good for lower level systems.
is this a joke?!? 1. Seth Goldberg, Jamesville, NY - $8120

I'm literally sitting at a 149.9 with my two 10's, an SPL oriented car, one large amp, one large expensive extra battery, and an expensive metering system (TermLab).... just like anything, if you want to play, you gotta pay.

........damn
Make 2 columns with the power they're running next to their best #. half the power on one side and -3 from the dB side. Then consider that after a point on the high side they're probably not gaining anywhere near 3dB for doubling power and you'll get an idea of how efficient and loss-free your design must be to get those numbers!

theres a few sub 2k 150 cars in tnespl
Can't recall ever seeing one myself. Do you know who and what vehicle?

F*** TNE anyway, they can't even show up to shows outside NY anymore.

mikebik do you build your own boxes or have some one do it? spl is all about testing so if you can build your own its gonna save a lot. finding some one with a meter that lives close by would be good to.

Very nice. Dans crx was 150.7 I believe at 1868 watts rms. we did get a 151.3 out of it tho in testing. He just didn't want to go over the 2000 rms mark at finals
