Looking to get a system

I have a reg cab truck and I'm looking to install a 10" sub and amp. Not sure what I want, but I prefer JL subs. I'm new to all this. Not sure if 2 or 4 ohm speakers are best, ported or sealed enclosure, and dont know about RMS. Please enlighten me. Looking to stay under $300. I saw that Rockford Fosgate has an all in one setup located at crutchfield. It is the P300-10 located at Rockford Fosgate Punch P300-10 Single 10" subwoofer enclosure with 300-watt amp at Crutchfield.com but found them cheaper at other online outlets.

I listen to mostly country music. Ive heard that ported is the way to go. I dont know.
