Hey guys, Im looking to get a laptop for under 500$

I found quite a few deals on ebay, and was just wondering what would work best for what I use it for.

I like to record live audio, and process live audio and make beats on my cpu. fruityloops etc...

I also do some gaming as well. I need something reliable and has decent processing. I cant stand when my audio starts clipping because there isnt enough resources.

any help would be great. I dont know shit about computers:crying:

a 1.6ghz will not work for me. and **** paying 300$ for your used slow laptop. I can get a brand new laptop that is better and faster for like 240 on ebay.

What you will generally find is one that is decent on processing power but can't game. I got a laptop for $530 from BB that had a Turion64 x2 2.0GHz, decent processor, but no graphics.

Keep your eyes on slickdeals.net they have good laptop deals every so often. 500 is steep for gaming but you might get a decent deal come up
