Hey all, how do you calculate the tuning required and size/quantity of the ports necessary? I have 6 10" MA audio subs and want to do something like this ported through into my cab like a blowthrough without the GIGANTIC hole! Or is anybody interested in designing it?

Ok the space available in the bed without a tricky shape it 68.5" wide, 22" deep, and 20" tall. The ports would be just black PVC pipe, in whatever size you recommend, and they would need to be long enough to stick through the back wall of the bed so about a foot maybe a bit less of they had to be needs to stick out the front of the box so make sure I have room to slide them in our our a bit to fit the truck if you can. THANKS! I can't wait to see what these things can do in a good box!

The subs are these: MA100-XE

FO=30.33

QMS=4.27

QES=.29

QTS=.27

VAS=42.51

REVC=1.5

SPL=87.86

XMAX=22mm

LEVC @1KHz=1.18

Sealed box recommended is MIN=.5 MAX=1.0 with sub displacement included in that number.

Subs will be getting around 350 RMS each maybe 400 if I feel lucky...

Well, similar, but I was hoping for something that uses aero style ports, so I could just run them straight from the bed to the cab through the back wall, secure them on both ends and then just use a section of flexible rubber in each port to take up the shift of the bed. that way I could get by without cutting a huge hole in the back wall of the truck, but if that sounds like it won't work, then I will just cut the hole, but only as big as needed to fit the port....

Nice box though! I wish I had the room to do it like that, but they got to go sideways to make it fit I think..I have a 5th wheel hitch in the bed and I can't go back any farther.
