looking to buy a sub...

I recently installed JL XR components in my car, and now I am looking to buy a sub to complete the system. I dont know if i want more SQ or SPL, probably somewhere in the middle, something that will complement my components well. I was thinking Type R because they seem to get a lot of support and are relatively cheap, but I am open to many ideas. No set budget really, but nothing thatll break the bank.

My confusion, however, lies mostly with the size of sub or number of subs to get. Ive went to local dealers and been told that two subs is essential (however I tend to take anything said by a local dealer with a grain of salt). I drive an 04 Hyundai Accent hatchback so the trunk space isnt huge. So with that, I hope to receive some useful feedback from anyone out there with the knowledge and will to help a novice out, thanks!

I'm sure there is a way to squeeze 2.0^ft out of that environment

Sealed 15" SE - around 175 shipped

15" XXX = 300-350

15" Diamond D9 - 400 ish

All of these would be great subs, but are "made" to be ported, other than the SE.

I'd say either get a ported XXX or D9 in a 12", or a sealed 15" SE.

XXX and D9 will get louder, but also require more power.

12w6v2 is another option.

The w6v2 is alittle pricey, how about the 12w3v2 compared to the w6v2 or even an alpine r?
