confused on what to buy for a 15" SQL sub

I have around 1500-1600 watts to work with at 1ohm.

That's what I want to use.

Right now I have a 15" XXX that's D4 so it would only be getting around 1000 maybe a bit more @2ohm.

I am trying to decide if I am just going to get another XXX in d2 if i find one for sale or trade, or go for a brahma?

What other SQL subs are available new or used for this amount of power in the price range of basically $350 shipped or less.

I am not interested in Rl-p or buying a DD or Audioque sub, trying to get a sub I haven't owned before and for whatever reasons these would also not fit the bill.

I was also considering a pair of ascendant audio 12" arsenals in the preorder for $160 each but I think i'd rather keep the 1 15" sub.

Its hard to suggest a sub when you make a comment like this. You are looking for suggestions only for subs you've already previously owned? The sentence is rather poorly written, maybe Im misunderstanding you...?

I guess Id suggest trading your XXX for another one with the more standard D2 coil configuration.

Personaly I think you should just give the xxx more power. I understand your not looking to go with DD but I have a 3515 and off of 1k it does get very loud and has great sq.
