Cool, still kind of ugly looking and boxy. do you know if the alpine d310 can display clock time when its closed?

no, its not.
how the hell would that be annoying? its certainly easier to navigate songs on a screen than withnormal buttons...

Umm, what if the indash is closed? How you going to go to next track?
