Looking for your basic 100 dollar pair of speakers.

Im looking at these

But I want to make sure im not wasting my money, or there is a better option for about the same price, or not too much more.

I will be running these off a factory infinity gold amp.

What are the specs on the infinity gold amp? I can't imagine it doing more than 30 or 40 watts per channel. Also noted that those are $106 shipped, so that $84 is just BS.

For that price, maybe you could talk to Tplaya07 about some OZ Audio Vector 6.5" comps. I have never listened to them personally, but back in the day when the very expensive ($200+) DLS sets were all the rage, the OZ set was the less expensive answer to them. =) Consider $120 or so shipped.

Those zrs are well worth the money. Dont let the price fool you.

Ide suggest also that you get a better amp to push those components soon. As you wont be able to take full advantage of them off a factory amp.

Well, i got a pair of zr's for like $101 shipped. I dont have specs on the factory amp, but im sure its crap. Im only going to run the one pair of speakers into the amp though, and not use rear speakers until I get the second pair AND an amp.

Well i cant say that the performance of the zrs will be the best off that factory amp, but it wil certainly be better than factory.

you need to run new speaker wire from the amp to the comps to bypass any crossovers that might be factory installed.
