why roll with a known sub that can do huge amounts of power when you can impress with subs that are not known to do huge numbers or atleast in different setups.

Also i dont nutthug db drive. Im personally dealing with db drive in a one to one situation and i get the subs at good prices.

Never did i say a dd or ssa or sundown are worse then db, but i prefer to have fun trying to do different setups.

If i had 30k to spend id be rolling like craig butler with dd's in his van.

As for dd z being a burp sub how long do you think one dd z will last doing the amount of power you would run on a burp, but in a musical setup. Yeah i understand you dont run sine waves, but a dd z is not the godly sub you presume it to be. It will clip and it will burn like the rest.

You say i nut hug db drive when i have recommended many different subs to others. Every post you make is about dd.

Face reality YOU DO NOT OWN DD. You are just one of the suckers to spend shits load of money on a sub that can be compared to many other cheaper subs and when i say cheaper i mean in the 700-900$ range.

I may not own all the subs i hear or talk about, but i do have experience on how they are and love to say my opinion.

Nobody has to agree its just the op who needs to decide who to go with .

World titles in countless leagues and classes since 1998 speak for themselves. And they have a few SQ wins also.. That's the definition of baddest is it not? That's why I run DD, that's why everyone that runs DD will never talk bad about DD unless they have a hidden agenda.

That's why when you go to CACO and skim through the DD thread you will see a lot of champs supporting DD. The only negative ANYONE ever has to say is the price. Those people think MSRP is the price.. You don't see DD having neck joints break all the time(DC), tensile lead fires(Fi), surrounds fall off(Sundown), three month back orders(Tantric). If this don't make sense to you it's hopeless.

I run B2 woofers, but SQ geared ones. I think they're more of SPL geared company though and from what I hear they're as ****** as many other top woofers on the market today. Personally have nothing against DD, own the m2b and it's being repaired now. Plan on putting it back on when I get it back. DD is a good option, but definitely not alone in its class.

I personally truly agree with you.

Within 3 months i COULD purchase 2 dd z 15's, but again and i wish you hear me on my opinion... I love the adventure and not the cheating way to the finish line.

Would it not be more fun to win a champions title with a sub that has not made it there? We all could easily save all our money and follow the trend to purchase a dd sub.

To me the baddest sub is one with a reasonable price and tremendous power along side that price.

Soundqubed is getting close to there and sundown and even tantric.

With adventure comes problems just like all that you mentioned.

I don't nutthug but i also don't bash products. I own 8 DD subs as we speak. Along with many " other " subs. It's not that people nutthug, DD is just a proven sub time after time.

One more fact for ya Los, the DD Z is the only single sub to ever break 180db. I think next to it is 176.

A pair of DD 9515s and a DD M4a=Problem Solved. Price isnt the cheapest but thats my opinion. If u plan on running more power in the future look into 4" coil subs, they take way more power then your average 3" coil subs from my experience and coils stay cooler longer.

DD9500 is pretty much like American Bass VFL, Soundqued HDC4, Massive Audio Gordo, Cadence S4W18-D1, & Vibe BLACKDEATH BUBONIC
