Looking for suggestions on Component Speakers

I need some suggestion on component speakers. I have a 2000 Galant ES that requires a 6 3/4" Mid in the front doors. The problem is, there are very few speakers in that size. Should I just get a 6 1/2 and make an adapter? Also what would be a decent brand? I will be powering them with a 75-100 per cahnnel wrms amp. Also my budget is no more than $150 shipped. I don't mind using ebay either. I want good sq that will get pretty loud. Thanks guys....

You should make an mdf mount for it, then you can get the size you want, and the mdf is self damping, unlike the probably metal mounts you have, which will add alot of resonation. You should also think about sealing your door up and sound deadening, otherwise you probably won't be very satisfied with w/e comps you get.
