Looking for Suggestions 8" subs

Well im looking for some imput or suggestions on 8" subs now i am currently looking at the bust part is that these need to go in a rather small box about .60 cf before sub... and need to have no more than

4 1/2 mounting depth.... im currently looking at the re rex 8" and dd 8" ... any other suggestions or other i should look at before i pull the trigger 2marrow? im looking for some decent bump nothing crazy

you could use .5" mdf for the box to give you a little more mounting depth.

DD's won't let you down there is a video in my Warhorse build log showing some DD 1508's doing 150+dbs....and hitting low

cool thanks for the recommendation im looking to spend 400 or less on the subs i already have the amp im gonna use alpine pdx-5.... now im on th fence about going ported with these so which of these will be the loudest cleanest bass... more looking towards sql.... my concern is that these will be going in a rather small box... those tang bang speakers look rather interesting anyone with experince with them?

I second the Tang Band, the 740 and 670 are hella 8" subs for the price, not high Qts muddy crap like alot on the market.

I have 3, the tb 740 is a much more practical woofer with just as much output where it counts, epics want .8 @ 32 to be daily able.
